Dr. Robert Chase, Director of Music directs the choir at The Church in the Highlands. Dr. Chase is the author of several books, a number of published articles and is a Graduate of Boston University, Union Theological Seminary’s School of Sacred Music and Columbia University. He has served the Church in the Highlands for over 40 years and was on the Pace University faculty for almost 30. He serves the Westchester Chapter of the American Guild of Organists as Chair of Professional Development and Education.

Dakota Martin, Choir Section Leader has served as Church in the Highlands’ Alto Soloist and Section Leader since January 2015.  She is a recent graduate of Manhattanville College where she received a BFA in Musical Theatre.  Dakota has performed  with choirs at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Cork School of Music, and St. Peter’s Basilica.  She is an active member of the Manhattanville College and Community Chorus and the HOPE for Change Foundation, which raises money for Breast Cancer research through theatrical productions and concerts.  Dakota is a lover of jazz music and old Hollywood and enjoys spending time with family and friends

Patrick Harris, Choir Section Leader

Dominick Mustacato, Choir Section Leader is an award-winning saxophonist currently enrolled in Manhattanville College’s Music Education program.  He has performed in numerous competitions around the United States including the Berklee School of Music Jazz Festival, The Heritage Festivals in San Francisco, Nashville, and Philadelphia in which he won the Maestro Award for Best Soloist.  Other performances include The Masterworks Festival Chorus at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s presentation of Babes in Toyland, as well as marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.  Dominick is currently studying saxophone with Kristen Mather as well as jazz piano and theory with Charles Blenzig.  He has been performing in Manhattanville jazz ensemble, wind ensemble and chorus since he arrived in 2014.  During his time there, he received the Transfer Merit Scholarship and has been admitted into the National Society of Leadership and Success.  Outside of school, he is a teacher assistant in the Summer Music Study Program at Diller-Quaile School of Music in New York City.
