MEET THE NEW EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE CHURCH IN THE HIGHLANDS

EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

Welcome and congratulations, Juliana!

Juliana Lambiasi is Director of Education at The Church in the Highlands. As Director, Lambiasi will oversee each of the early childhood education programs such as The Church in the Highlands Early Childhood Center & Daycare and Highlands Summer Camp.

Lambiasi has twelve years of classroom experience as a preschool teacher, developing curriculum and creative instruction. Lambiasi has experience in diverse early childhood education environments, such as universal Pre-K, Head Start, and private settings. In September 2018, having had a great experience as a parent of a child enrolled in the program, Lambiasi joined the staff of The Church in the Highlands Early Childhood Center as a Head Teacher of the Fours program.

Additionally, she has good leadership skills and strong administrative background. Prior to coming to The Church in the Highlands ECC, she worked as an educational director of a center serving children ages six weeks to five years old. ECC staff already has welcomed Lambiasi both as a mentor and a valuable resource.

Upon completing her studies in English Language and Literacy, Lambiasi earned a B.A. from Pace University. She then earned her M.S. in Education from The College of New Rochelle. In 2015, Lambiasi received her New York State Public School Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth – Grade 2).

The Early Childhood Center is a non-sectarian mission of The Church in the Highlands. As the Board and congregation prepare to celebrate the centennial anniversary of The Church in the Highlands, we renew our longstanding commitment to support the growth and development of children, as well as the practice to partner with parents to raise the next generation of lifelong learners.
